The start of a new month can be equal parts refreshing and intimidating. It's ok to pause and breathe, then get to it 💻📷🗂📋🙌🏽
Something we hear often is how scary social media can be. Meaning, it can be difficult for some businesses to establish a voice on their channels. People worry about the tone, the context, the material being used. It can be awfully nerve racking to add another task on your already heaping pile of to-do's and especially if it's one that makes you antsy. Not knowing what to say is not anything to lose sleep over, however.
Showing up is half the battle in any predicament. Social media marketing and designing is no different. Consistency is your friend and content variation makes a campaign. It's good to trial and error some things of course, but take active notice of what is effective and what is not. At Social Cap, we take the first of the month to analyze the previous month's work and acknowledge what works, what doesn't, and what we will aim for in the new month ahead.
You may have heard it takes 21 days to make or break certain habits. Social media runs in the range of 30-60 days. This is not always the case of course, some things take much more time, while other things filter out early on. The point is to set up a plan and show up to execute it. What's effective will reveal itself in more ways than you realize. Show up and do the work to uncover the best results, whether it means staying with the initial campaign or updating it further.
